About the artist

Daniel was born in Glasgow in 1951, and studied at both the Glasgow School of Art and the Glasgow College of Building and Printing. After graduating, he worked as an artist and lithographer in the printing industry. In 1995, he became a full-time artist, setting up a studio at home, where he continues to paint.

Daniel’s brightly coloured paintings feature stunning Scottish landscapes as well as woodland scenes, florals, figurative work and a small amount of abstract work. His original work can be found in private and corporate collections around the globe.
